"Pleasant"
location was good, rooms where nice,,,,the restaurant was terrible, we counted on the pool to use and enjoy and it was closed,,,

The breakfast spread was awesome. It had a lot of variety. The location of the hotel is also very strategic; close to shops, the market, Freddie Mercury museum, transportation and the Forodhani night food market (a must visit). Oh and the breathtaking views from the terrace restaurant. Bonus: we had an early flight out of Zanzibar and breakfast was still provided for us.

The location is really convenient, in the middle of the shopping area, surrounded by all of the important sights in Stone Town. A lovely rooftop restaurant and bar.

Great location and central to most things.The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.Mosquito nets on the beds and i would recommend using them, as the little pests can get into the rooms.Breakfast was a great choice and i would recommend it.Though the room service for we ordered, was not really that nice, the pizza had an odd taste to it and the chicken wings didn't have much flavour.There only other thing to be careful of is that when it rains, the road directly outside the hotel seems to get really deep and almost a small river.Nice hotel though and i would stay here again.

Very nice location, clean room, lot of stores and restaurants near. Good restaurant also in the hotel. Nice staff.

I liked the express check-in that was offered this time. I was also impressed by the tremendous improvement to their rooftop restaurant menu and quality of food. The breakfast spread was good, and the lunch and dinner menu offered a good variety of local as well as international dishes. The nightly live music also provided good entertainment.

The view from the top / terrace restaurant was amazing as it gives a glimpse of buildings of stone town as well as the sea. Lovely spot to enjoy meals or drinks at any time of the day. All the staff was very courteous and helpful.The interior design and ambience of the hotel is very neat and aligned to local architecture.
